This Privacy Policy describes how MiddAir ("we," "us," or "our"), operated at middairphotography.com, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website. Please read this policy carefully. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

1a. Information collected automatically

When you visit MiddAir, certain information is collected automatically by our analytics and hosting providers:

• Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on each page, referring website, browser type, operating system, screen size, and approximate geographic location (country or city level — not street address).
• Device information: Device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), browser version.
• IP address: Your IP address may be collected by our hosting provider (Netlify) and analytics provider (Google Analytics). Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization enabled, meaning your full IP address is not stored.

1b. Information you voluntarily provide

If you contact us by email at middairphotography@outlook.com, we receive the email address you send from and any information you include in the message. We do not store this in a database and only use it to respond to your inquiry.

1c. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies (small text files stored in your browser) and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): To understand how visitors use the site, which pages are popular, and how to improve the experience. These are anonymous and do not identify you personally.

• Netlify — website hosting. Netlify may collect IP addresses and request logs as part of standard hosting operations. Netlify Privacy Policy.
• Pexels / Pixabay — stock photography APIs used to display aerial photography images. These services may log API requests. Pexels Privacy Policy.
• RSS2JSON — used to convert public RSS feeds from drone news publications into content for this site. No personal data is transmitted in these requests.
• Amazon Associates — affiliate program. Clicking gear links may set an Amazon affiliate cookie. Amazon's tracking is governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice.
• Pond5 — referral program. The Pond5 link on this site includes a referral parameter (ref=Timothy51270). Pond5 may set cookies when you visit via this link, governed by Pond5's Privacy Policy.

4. Content aggregation and third-party links

MiddAir aggregates and displays content (headlines, summaries, and links) from third-party publications via their public RSS feeds. This content remains the property of the original publishers. MiddAir is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party website. When you click a link from MiddAir to an external site, you leave MiddAir and that site's own privacy policy applies.

5. Data retention

We do not operate a user database or store personal data on our own servers. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted. Email inquiries are retained only as long as necessary to respond.

6. Children's privacy

MiddAir is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at middairphotography@outlook.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data under applicable laws (including GDPR for EU/EEA residents and CCPA for California residents). These may include the right to access, correct, or delete data about you, and the right to opt out of certain types of data processing. Since MiddAir does not maintain a user database, most of these rights apply to our third-party service providers directly. 8. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to this signal. Google Analytics does not respond to Do Not Track signals. You may disable Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
